With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the earthly transition of Rosie Lee Marable Ware, of Ashland, who traded time for eternity on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the age of 78.
Rosie was born on January 5, 1947, the daughter of Garfield and Joyce Mackey Marable.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked for Southland Manufacturing for many years.
She was educated at Clay County Training School.
Rosie accepted Christ at an early age.
Rosie was united in holy matrimony to Joe L. Ware.
Rosie enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and working in her flower bed. Rosie loved God, her family and listening to music.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Ware; son, Tony D. Ware; grandson, Anton Vernon Marable; great-granddaughter, Bella Grace Mitchell; brothers, James Marable, John Marable, and Eunice Sims; two sisters, Mary Herren and Linda Dyer.
She is survived by four children, Robert (Pat) Ware, Brenda (Hugh) Foster, Wendy (Rodney) Maxwell and Joann Ware Wilson all of Ashland, AL; two sisters Sarah Gray, Maywood, IL, and Patsy Simpson, Chicago, IL; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
