Shariese Jackson

It is with deep sympathy, we announce the passing of Shariese Jackson of Gadsden, who transitioned on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 39. We ask that you keep her family and friends in your prayers during this time.

Shariese Gaynell Jackson was born November 17, 1985 in Livingston, NJ to Vanessa Smith and Kevin Jackson 

Shariese was educated in the Gadsden City School System, graduating Litchfield High School Class of 2005. She attended Virginia Technical College with a certification as a legal secretary. 

Shariese accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was baptized. She later began attending Greater Grace Church, Ashville, under the pastorate of Bishop Terry and Lady Charlotte Jones with her family.

Shariese traded time for eternity on Friday,  February 7, 2025 at the age of 39. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vanessa Threatt; father, Kevin Jackson; grandmothers, Rissie West and Willis Hawkins.
 Although her time on earth seemed so brief,  she leaves countless memories with her son, Nehemiah Kinard Jackson, Gadsden, AL; sister, Quadtisha Gunn, Newark,  NJ; nephews, Jatavious Jones, Gadsden, AL, JaMarcus Jones, Jacksonville,  AL; niece, Jazmine Jones; god-father, Rev. Anthony Whitehead, Gadsden, AL; special friends,  Pertwinkle Rutledge and Sibil Israel,  Gadsden,  AL; a host of cousins and other friends.
