Shirley Ann (Hill) Thompson

Shirley Ann Hill Thompson was born on January 13, 1963 in Collinsville, Dekalb County, Alabama to the late Leonard and Cleo Odell McElrath Hill. 

Shirley attended school in the Collinsville School System. In 1983, she moved to Rome, GA where she met and married her soulmate Danny Lee Thompson. 

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, Shirley trade time for eternity and received the ultimate healing from all her illnesses. She awaits that great Resurrection Day with her parents; son, McKenzie Hill; brother, Sonny Hill and Kerry Hill.

She leaves behind her husband, Danny Lee Thompson, Rome, GA; brothers, Samuel (Eva) Hill, Gadsden, AL, Mack Hill, San Jose, CA, Preston Hill, Danny Hill, Both of Collinsville,  AL; sisters, Pauline Perkins, Los Angeles,  CA, Dorothy Green, Fresno, CA; special nephew, Dwight Hodges; special nieces, Dorian Hill, Deatrice Hill, Anetrius Hoskins; aunt, Irene Parker, Summerville, GA; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
