Obituary

It is with deep sympathy we announce the passing of Ms. Ternecia Sho'Nay Thomas of Birmingham, AL, who transitioned on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the age of 29.  We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during the difficult time.  Services will be Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Grace Covenant Worship Center 3300 Wilson Rd SW, Birmingham, AL 35221.

Ternecia Sho'Nay Thomas of Birmingham, Alabama, was born on September 22, 1992, to the parents of Ms. Evelyn Koech and Mr. Courtney Cooper. 

She attended Jackson Olin High School.

She is procced in death by her grandmother Marilyn Cooper. 
 
Ternecia was a funny person to be around, Ternecia gave encouraging words to everyone. Her laugh alone would brighten up your day. Her heart was bigger than her body. She loved her family and friends so much. She would give you her last and won’t even tell you that was her last. Ternecia You will truly be missed, Rest peacefully.
 
She leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving mother, Evelyn Koech (Reynold Bonner); loving father, Courtney Cooper (Sherri); two sisters, Eboni Thomas and Victoria Cooper;  five brothers, Terrance Burns, Sr., Rodrick Roberts, Deshon Thomas, Ja'Micheal Thomas, and Lawrence Jackson; two nieces, Emoni Thomas and Addison Cooper; one nephew, Terrance Burns, Jr.; a praying grandmother Marilyn Thomas; one aunt, Queen Johnson;  her god mom, Michelle Clayton; a sister-in-law, Alisha Pettway, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
