Virginia Ann Young

It is with deep sympathy, we announce the passing of Virginia Ann Young of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of 66.  We ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Virginia was born in Gadsden, AL to Rebecca Shepard Young on October 4, 1956 .

She was educated in the Gadsden City School System. After graduating high school, she worked at Gulf State Steel and Allen Chambers. Virginia spent her adult years between Los Angeles, CA, Detroit, MI, and Washington, DC. She returned to Gadsden in October 2019 to remain near family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Bagley, Sr.; brother, Donald Bagley; and grandmother, Pearlie Young and Mamie Bagley.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Rebecca (Robert) Hope, Gadsden, AL; brothers, Ernie Bagley, Marion, AL, Ralph Bagley, and Lonnie Bagley, Jr., Gadsden, AL; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Bagley and Edna Bagley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
