Wallace Gadson

With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Wallace Gadson of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age  of 80.  We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Mr. Wallace Gadson was born to the union of the late Mr. Ernest Gadson, Sr. and Mrs. Priscilla H. Gadson on May 16, 1944.

Wallace accepted Christ at an early age. He united with First Baptist Church, Alabama City under the pastorate of the late Rev. E. L. Gary. He later united with Friendship Baptist Church, Gadsden under the pastorate of the late Rev. Roszell Gadson, Sr.

Wallace was a 1962 graduate of Carver High School.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Zell J. K. Gadson; brothers, Ernest Gadson, Jr., Jessie R. Gadson, Johnny B. (Bertha) Gadson, Rev. Roszell Gadson, Sr., and George W. Gadson; sisters, Alberta Gadson, and Emily G. (Earl) Howard.

Wallace departed this life on January 16, 2025.
