With heartfelt sympathy we announce the earthly transition of William Elliott "Bull" Caldwell of Tuskegee, formerly of Attalla, who traded time for eternity on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the age of 72.
William Elliott Caldwell, Sr., was born in Attalla, Etowah County, Alabama to the union of the late Eddie Lee and Annie Bea Eggleston Caldwell on October 5, 1950.
He attended the Attalla City School System and graduated from Norris High School. After High School, he attended Gadsden State Community College for a year. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he honorably served his tour of duty.
"Bull", as he was affectionately called by his loved ones, loved to talk and was always talking. He was famous for his homemade hamburger called the "Bull Burger". His specialty consisted of secret vegetables chopped so fine that you couldn't even tell they were in there.
William traded time for eternity on Thursday, June 8, 2023. He was preceded in this passage of life by his parents; siblings, Eddie Joe Caldwell, David Anthony Caldwell and Benny Caldwell.
Those left behind include his three sons, William (Christina) Caldwell, Jr., Attalla, AL, Eric Langham, Mobile, AL, Mark Anthony Caldwell, Colorado; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a loving and devoted sister, Betty Caldwell Billingsley, Attalla, AL; uncle, Mark Eggleston, Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
