It is with heartfelt sympathy, that we announce the passing of Mr. William E. White of Gadsden, AL, who transitioned on Wednesday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 73. We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
William Earl White was born in Talladega, Alabama on November 4, 1950, to the late Mr. Leroy White and the late Mrs. Louise White.
At an early age, he confessed Christ as his savior and was baptized at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. During his younger years, he was a member of the Young Adult choir, a Sunday School teacher, and an usher. He remained a faithful member of the Seniors Ministry and a doorkeeper until his health failed.
William affectionately known as "Earl' graduated from The Carver High School in 1969. He attended Gadsden State Community College.
Earl met the love of his life in Talladega, Al in October 1990. On February 15, 1992, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Betty Ruth Farrior White.
Earl retired from Good Year Tire and Rubber with 33 years of faithful service.
Earl entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lousie White; son, Michael Buchanan; grandson, Trenton Jamario White; nephews, Roderick White, and Kendre White, and grandparents.
Earl leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his beautiful "wifey" of 32 years, Betty Ruth White; children, Mario White, Joseph Tyrone Buchanan, and Katrina Buchanan; grandchildren, Keana Sturkie, Breana White, Jessalyn Davis, Landen White, Demetria Cass, and Semethia Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Brayuna, Khloe, Milo-Kade, Kassidy, Karter, and Kostyn; siblings, Leon (Doretha) White, Aron (Rita) White, Thelma (Marlin) Millender, Doris White, Kenneth Wayne (Paula) White, and Carolyn (Steven) Harris; aunt, Betty (Thomas) Pugh; special cousins, Katie Lee Young and Elizabeth Ann Wofford; six sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; three faithful friends, David Jones, JP Jones, and Curtis Isom; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
