Jackie Rogers was born in the fall of 1950 to the parentage of Elsie Mae Roberts and Eugene Rogers, on November 15th in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama.
 
Jackie accepted Christ at an early age, uniting with Antioch United Methodist Church, currently Antioch-Goodsell United Methodist Church.
 
Jackie attended school in the Attalla City School System.
 
Jackie found solace driving big rigs for a number of years. Jackie was known for being very charismatic and a people person. He was a caring individual and always helped everyone.  He was always there for those in need. Those who knew him well, would say he was always the life of the party.
 
On Sunday, February 4, Jackie answered his call to join his parents and two sisters in Heaven.
 
 
Jackie leaves those to cherish his memories, his children, Jackie (Francesca) Rogers, Corey (Jada) Bradford, Tefinie Rogers, Brandon Williams, Nashanta Graham; several grandchildren, Jonah Rogers, Jalen Christopher, Caleb Miles, Noah Joseph, Bella Rae, Temia Rogers, Temar Moore; one great grandchild, Jaikel Miliner; sisters, Edna Graves, Jeanette Croft, Sandra Graham; brothers, Cornell Rogers, Byron Rogers and other relatives, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of your dear loved one. May these words in Revelation 21:4 bring you a measure of comfort and strength at this time of grief and deep sorrow.
