Harland Smith was born August 7, 1938 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Henry and Lillie Blalock Smith.

He departed this life on Friday, May 10, 2013.

 

Funeral will be 1:00p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Gordo, Rev. Roy Williams, officiating, burial in Sand Hill Cemetery.

My Uncle Harland was a spiritual man who had no problems expressing the goodness of the Lord he enjoy showing Gods light so that others may come to know how great God is. 2CORINTHIANS 4:6 Uncle Harland will especially be missed at the family reunion functions especially when it comes to his barbecue,I love you Uncle Harland until we see meet again. My Uncle Harland will be greatly missed his shinning light of Gods glory that he shared with family and friends will not be forgotten, he will especially be missed at family gatherings and reunions. Love you Uncle Harland from your niece in Vallejo California (Annette)
