The Obituary

                Ms. Annie Elizabeth Richardson English was born on March 27, 1946 to the parentage of O’Bryant and Mattie Ruth Tuck Richardson, in Gadsden, Alabama.

                At an early age she confessed Christ and joined Sweet Home United Methodist Church. Annie later united with Church of God in Christ on Evan’s St. In the early 60’s she became a member of the Apostolic House of Prayer under the leadership of Bishop E. L. Bryant, in Mobile, Alabama. Although she had no current church home, she fellowshipped with many.

                In 1983 Annie was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Samuel L. English. No children were born to this union.

                On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Northside Nursing Home, Annie transitioned from this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Michael Tuck, John Anthony Richardson; and one sister, Luella Richardson Elliot.

                She leaves to cherish her precious memories five devoted sisters, Lillian M. Butterfield, of Pembroke, Bermuda, Willie B. Leach, Evangelist Mattie Ingram, Delores Wood, all of Gadsden, Al, Lennella Walker, Copperas Cove, Texas; two brothers, O’Bryant (Annerose) Richardson, Jr., Mike (Gail) Richardson, both of Copperas Cove, Texas; ten nephews; nine nieces; one aunt, Orister Tuck, Roanoke, VA; two sisters-in-law, Judy K. (Andre W.) Lockett, New Castle, PA, Arlora Kimbrough, of Gadsden, AL; special cousins, Detory (Kamela) Aaron, Earmon Aaron; special friend, Diretha Allen, Anthony (Alisha) Keith, Shirley Keith, Barbara Joseph Macon, GA, Joe Bonner, Mary France Wilson, Gloria Towells, the entire Stephens Family, ; a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives and many many dear friends.
