Saturday, February 20, 2021, Tara Cameron Henderson, A loving wife, mother of two children, daughter and sister passed away at the age of 50 in Gadsden AL.

Tara was born on February 20, 1971 in Gadsden AL to Frances Dark and Lourie Cameron.  She confessed Christ at an early age and was brought up in the church at Bethlehem Baptist Church in West Gadsden AL. She graduated from Emma Sansom High School class of 1989.  She worked for Mid South Electronics for 25 years before retiring.

On July 21, 1998, She married Mark Henderson and in this union two daughters were born Shyia and Simone.

Tara loved life! She loved her husband and her girls were her Life. She loved her mom and dad with everything in her.  She would always joke and tell her sister Toot those were her parents only... Oh boy the fun she and her sister used to have dancing and singing with each other.  She enjoyed dancing and making people laugh! She was always the life of the party.  She loved watching CNN and following politics.  She knew the news better than the reporters.  She enjoyed sports like boxing, football, basketball, baseball and tennis.  She never met a stranger.  She would talk to everyone she met and was always such a happy spirit. Everyone she met said she would brighten up the room. She loved spending time with her daughters whether it was movie night or sitting on the porch for hours at a time.

Tara leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Mark Henderson; her two beautiful daughters: Shyia and Simone Henderson; her two beautiful step daughters: Brittany Thomas (Jason), and Tyerra Henderson; granddaughter: McKenzie Thomas; grandson: MeKhi Davis; mother: Frances Dark; father: Lourie Cameron; brother: Chris Williams (Shundra); sister: Alisha Cameron; three nephews: Chris, Javen, and Trey Williams; two aunts: Albert Ree Harvey, and Vivian Norris; one uncle: Leon Pope; and a host of cousins and close friends.

Special Friends who were just like sisters to Tara and very dear to her, Alicia Miller (Lisa), Connie Bostick, Kelley Childs (Nae), Tonia Russell, Shelia Hill, Cassandra Douthard (Toot), and Sandra Jones (Munchie), Terra Guyton, Constance Veasey.

Mark & Tara were great and wonderful neighbors to my mother and stepdad for many years and this is how I knew them. I am both shocked and saddened to learn of her passing! From my limited interactions with her, I knew that she was a sister in Christ. My mother and I send our heartfelt condolences to Mark and their daughters, and to all who loved her well, including stepdaughter and family, with whom I am acquainted. Brittany, God bless you all and continue to comfort you as you remember her and feel her absence. She was truly an awesome woman, and is enjoying being in the presence of her Savior! "And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.... " Jesus' words from John 11:26 KJV
